Ginger has been called a universal medicine in Ayurveda. It grows here throughout the year and due to its special properties, it is used in greater quantity in India and China. So we thought that this time we should bring some such recipe related to ginger. Which is also delicious and we can also use it in our daily meals and during special festivals. So this time, we try Ginger and Curd sauce.

To prepare Ginger and Curd Sauce we need the following materials:

Ginger – 60 gram

Coriander – 30 gram

Cocunut – (grated)

Curd- 1 cup

Red chilly – two peices of 1-1 inch.

Curry leaves/Sweet neem leaves – 2 stalk

and at last some salt for taste accordingto your need.

Procedure:

Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces. Heat half a teaspoon of oil in a pan and fry the ginger pieces until they turn brown.

Remove the fried ginger pieces from the pan and keep them aside.
Again take half teaspoon of oil and fry coriander seeds in it. Be careful not to burn them.
Then add some chilli to it and roast it.
Add grated coconut and fry it till it becomes brown.

Finely grind all these things.

Now pour the remaining oil in the pan and temper the mustard.
Add red chilli, curry leaves and add the paste to it and mix well.

After cooling the mix add curd and salt to it. So now your delicious Ginger and Curd Sauce is ready to be served, that you can eat with roti, dosa, puri and rice.

Here is the delicious sauce which is very nutritious as it helps in reducing gas and increases digestion.
